Notably stark contrast between temperatures in NorCal (well abv avg and into 80s!) and SoCal today (well below avg and chilly!) thanks to departing cold low, which brought cold air aloft but subsequently caused downsloping/compressional heating amid offshore flow in north. #CAwx
